田宝玉,男，1946年8月出生；北邮信息与通信工程学院信息理论与技术教研中心责任教授、博士生导师；1969年毕业于哈尔滨军事工程学院电子工程系，1982年获北邮信息论专业硕士学位；长期从事科研和教学工作，主要研究方向：信号与信息处理、数字移动通信、信源编码理论与技术；完成多项部队、国家、部级以及横向合作科研项目，多次获军队科技成果奖，发表多篇学术论文，编写《工程信息论》、《信息论基础》（教育部十一五规划教材）、《通信原理》（教育部十一五规划教材）等教材。现任中国通信学会通信理论与信号处理委员会委员，中国通信学会高级会员。

         Accomplished many national , military, departmental and cooperative research projects

         Had won prizes for military research contribution many times

         Published many academic papers

l         Have written a few technical books and materials ,such as “Information Theory of Engineering”, “Elements of Information Theory ”and 

“Communication Principles ”
